Ticketref FAQ
Answer 1: Sellers upload their ticket details and post the link to their listing on social media or share it with an interested buyer. The buyer pays TicketRef through our website (secured by Stripe), TicketRef receives the tickets from the seller and transfers to the buyer.
Answer 2: Tickets are transferred to the buyer after they complete payment. If the buyer does not receive the tickets, they receive a full refund back to their original form of payment.
Answer 3: The day after the event occurs. This protects all parties to the transaction.
Answer 4: The buyer pays a 2.5% premium and the seller pays a 2.5% service fee, which gets deducted from the proceeds of their sale. TicketRef also charges a 2.9% card processing fee, however that is being waived for all transactions while we launch.
Answer 5: Ticketref accepts all major credit cards. Our payment processing is secured by Stripe, one of the largest payment processors in the world.
Answer 6: Idk, John, what happens here when tickets are transferred to buyer and the event gets cancelled? IS the buyer refunded?
Answer 7: Ticketref acts as the buyer of your tickets. We then sell them to the buyer. Check out our terms and conditions for specific scenarios like what happens if I purchase the tickets and change my mind before I accept the tickets in my AXS account...
Answer 8: Tickets don't get lost or stolen. They are transfered to your TicketMaster or AXS account directly from our account. The email address you provide to us is the one we use.
Answer 9: Ticketref charges a 2.5% service fee to the buyer and a 2.5% service fee to the seller. There is also a 2.9% processing fee paid for by the buyer when they use a credit card, but we are not currently charging this processing fee at this time. There are no resort, convenience or other hidden fees.
